Last two days have been blah days :( but today….I took out the point and shoot and played around while I was *gasp* driving…not many people around and I got 2 decent pictures :) I like the second one best.

I went to the Vincennes Rendezvous today. I REALLY enjoyed it! It was wayyyy better than I anticipated :O Had a whole bunch of venders and a lot of re-enactors, was in all pretty amazing :)

Soooo…I need a macro lens to pull of the tiny fishy, but ehh I liked it :) 

So I was bored tonight and decided to pick a different theme for this thingy. I like the black a little bit better because I decided that I really like doing black and white photography more than color. Also I played around in photoshop to make a new header. After looking at it posted it still needs a little bit of work on the right side if you ask me. lol….it could probably use a whole lot of work, I just don’t feel like doing it right now :) 

Like so many people I have decided that I’m going to do a picture of the day. My project started with my previous post (the shoes). It doesn’t matter what I shoot, just as long as I shoot at least one thing a day. I don’t have a theme a day, or theme a week, I’m just doing a picture a day. With that…enjoy today’s picture if you missed it.

I decided to take pictures of a pair of my new shoes :) I think they are cute :) 

This year after many years of wanting to go I finally get to go to the Spirit of Vincennes Rendezvous! I’m excited about it, and I’m totally signing up for the photography competition. I have the weekend off :O which surprises me because I just started a new job. So many things to be excited about. New job, rendezvous, and summer classes starting soon, I’ve got a full schedule coming up! I have decided that I need at least one day, or weekend of photography. Lately the only photography I’ve been doing is at events :O Makes me sad actually :’(… 

For my final project in Intermediate Photography I did self portraits. I did my idea w/cloning myself into the picture a couple of times. I thought they came out alright and I’m pretty happy with them :) 

I thought about doing one self portrait and some things that I like. One of my ideas was doing swords and my mac–of course not in the same picture!

Today I went to an event held by/for boy scouts, girl scouts, and the public. It was the Lincoln Bicentennial Encampment (Spencer county, IN). It had all kinds of neat-o things and the event was HUGE :) If I remember correctly one of the guys said that there were over 4,500 registered boy scouts at the camp. Thats amazing! 

There were re-enactors from Abraham Lincoln’s time period *duh* which is always cool :) There were events going all day long, so rather than have to be certain places at certain times you could go hang out at one place and see the event any time of the day it seemed–I really liked that :) 

The only problem I had with the event was the complaining of the scouts! But when it is learned actions from troop leaders and parents how else are the scouts suppose to act right?
